The only thing that let the 90’s down is was the lack of FEDS Chicken Shop. FACT.

Should we hook this bad lad up to a projector and get some Tony hawks onto the tiled wall which will mean anyone wanting to use our bathrooms will have to walk in front of you while you play, therefor nailing that frustration we all lived through back then.

After the chaos of the last two weeks, things are starting to settle down at FEDS new home.

Now we are starting to see the vision really come into its own… a space where you can relax, eat lunch, have a pint or your favourite cocktail and generally just get lost for a bit in some unapologetically alternative 90’s vibe...

The team has been absolutely class as well. Still a few teething issues but the overall feedback has been incredible.

We fucking love it.

FEDS COCKTAILS 🍹

Today feels like a good day to tell you about our extensive drinks menu. Long gone are the days of only selling cans of Pepsi Max and pints of Camden in the Grainger market. We now offer an extensive range of drinks.

The kings of the local beer scene @donzokobeer have all of our house beer lines sewn up with some incredible pints on offer.

After that we have a range of cocktails designed and mixed in house. Some absolute bangers. Pictures are two of our favourites… the Dirty Ol’ Fashioned and the FEDS Marg.

Come down this afternoon, sit and smash a few margs in the sun, then when the music goes up a notch about 7pm, quickly switch to the Ol’ Fashioned and nod away to Nirvana and remember how good the 90’s were. Serving til late.

Drink responsibly. By this we mean eat plenty of fried chicken dipped in ranch. Obvs 🙄

Our team has been utterly incredible this week. Will, Spencer, Aaron, Dan, Kieran, Mike, Chloe, Nikki, Chris, Olive, Jack, Angus, Ross, Ellie, Jamie, George… you all contributed hugely to what has been an absolutely crazy week getting this place ready and open. Thank you. 🙏 ☺️

OUR LAST DAY IN THE @thegraingermarket

An equally sad and exciting day for us. Last ever day for FEDS in its first ever home but big things coming this week.

Well that was our last ever Sunday off… usually the market being closed on a Sunday gives you all a rest from us for a day… well, NOT ANYMORE.

This time next week we will be slinging chicken and smashing out tunes like it’s always been that way.

These are just some pics of some customers having a great time on our last ever Saturday in the Market. Sampling our new orange soda and helping us ramp up the noise for next week.

This Friday, we’re pulling up the FEDS Van to Donzoko in the Ouseburn and giving away FREE fried chicken to everyone grabbing a pint. No catch — just good vibes.

Massively sad day for FEDS.

Today, Kieran (you may know him as Kez)will be working his last shift in the Grainger Market for FEDS…

This lad has thrown so much passion and effort into making FEDS what it is today… so much.

He will be a big miss in our teams and wherever he ends up, they will benefit massively from his incredible people skills and energy.
